Bundaberg Regional Council

Problem

Bundaberg Regional Council manually managed health monitoring for employees using spreadsheets. This process was time-consuming and prone to errors. Different roles had varying health monitoring requirements and schedules, making it difficult to track compliance, view changes over time, compare assessments, view histories, or transfer information from pre-employment screening to health surveillance.

Implementation

KINNECT collaborated with Bundaberg Regional Council to create job profiles reflecting health monitoring needs. These profiles were uploaded to Carelever, allowing role-specific testing for pre-employment and ongoing health monitoring. The council’s team received training on Carelever, and all data was transferred from spreadsheets to the system.

Results

Carelever significantly reduced administrative work by two full time administration equivalents.

The system now tracks health monitoring requirements and updates in real time, books appointments, and digitises forms and assessments. It provides comprehensive tracking of employee health histories and changes over time. Both Bundaberg Regional Council and KINNECT have real-time visibility into appointments, ensuring quality-assured medical and occupational health services.
